Q: Does the player stats data appear on the match stats field screen?
A: No it is a separate program but you can enter the same statistic names you wish
to record in both which will reflect where on the field specific player stats have
occurred.
Q: Can I record stats for both teams?
A: Yes you can by simply opening another window for the players stats or with match
stats recording 4 key stats for each team with red symbols for the home team and
blue for the away or colours of your choice.
Q: How does the Excel Feature work?
A: Simply export the match or player stats from the File header in the SportTracker
main menu (Top left of screen) then save that data to a specific file and then open
Excel and then go File Open in Excel menu and then open the saved file. All the
data will appear from which you can create further reports to suit, limited only
by your ability to use Excel.
Q: Ok, I have downloaded the Serial Number from the link I was sent after my purchase,
what do I do now?
A: Copy and paste your email address and the Serial Number into the appropriate
spaces and click on continue to proceed. The program will then launch and open for
you. Save Sport Tracker to your desktop for ease of use.
Q: I want to transfer the program to another computer for game day, how do I do
this?
A: Just copy the Sport Tracker files to a USB and transfer to the other computer
or conversely burn to a CD and do the same. You will need to re-enter your email
address and security code again.
Q: Do I need to be online to use the program?
A: No, Sport Tracker is stand alone and best launched from the unique Sport Tracker
desktop icon.
Q: How do I engage the program after I reset all the data as sometimes it seems
to freeze?
A: Left mouse click anywhere on the field to refocus program.
Q: Can I archive any saved files?
A: Yes simply put them in a specific folder and recall at a later date
Q: Can I use both the player stats and team stats at the same time?
A: Yes just toggle between screens via main menu or shortcut keys.
Q: How do I record 12 stats?
A: Just open another Sport Tracker window.
Q: How do I show a couple of my players their stats where they occurred on the pitch/field?
A: In the legend enter that stat that you want to show a player, for example Missed
Tackles defence, might look like this…MTJSDef may indicate missed tackles
John Smith defence ….just assign a symbol and the key to record this data.
You can also use the drawing tool to highlight specific stats as well.
Q: How do I email my players their individual stats?
A: Just jpeg all data from the Main menu and then email the players the picture.
Q: I can’t see the screen sometimes at a match, what can I do about this?
A: You should find some shade or cover of some kind or at least be with the sun
behind your back. As well, laptop sun visors can be purchased online and they are
a great idea.
Q: My laptop battery only seems to last about 60-70 minutes and the game goes for
about 90 what can I do about this?
A: This is a hardware issue and a high quality battery may resolve that or use the
power saving devices that may be on your computer. Access to mains power would help
if possible. Avoid having any other programs running at the same time.
Q: I am having trouble with moving the symbols around for training drills why is
this?
A: Engage the Ctrl key first, and then when the cursor is on a symbol, click the
left mouse button (a hand will appear) and hold that down while you drag the symbol.
Q: How do I use the straight line tool?
A: Just click on the icon in the Tool menu and it will change colour to indicate
it is on and conversely click again to turn off.
Q: I have opened the colour palette and I can’t close it down how do I do
this?
A: Simply click on a colour or another icon and it will restore.
Q: I have opened the line thickness icon to change the size of the line and decided
not to do this but it won’t close so how do I close this?
A: Just click on the symbol in the line window and it will restore.
